Sydney, Classes Starting March 7th, 2015
St. Mary’s Polish Parish will be holding another series of sessions to learn basic Polish in a fun, recreational setting, geared to adult and teen learners.
The sessions, open to the general community, will be led by Edyta Baczyk, a native Polish speaker and a professional ESL instructor with the Cape Breton ICEAP program. No previous experience with the Polish language is required.
The first session is on Saturday, March 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Polish Village Hall. The program runs for six Saturdays.
Many of the activities will relate to preparing for Easter according to Polish customs.
The total cost is $30. As space is limited, please confirm by return e-mail if you wish to enroll or please call 902-563-1226. Payment can be brought to the first session, where registration forms will be available. Alternatively, a cheque -- made out to the parish and marked “Learning the Polish Language” in the memo line -- can be mailed to St. Mary’s Polish Parish, 21 Wesley St., Whitney Pier, NS, B1N 2M5.
